File Sharing

The Client Portal supports secure two-way file exchange.

Uploading Files to Checklist Items

  1. Open the Case Page.
  2. Go to the Checklist.
  3. Upload files to specific checklist items.

Clients can:

  • Upload required documents.
  • Download documents you upload.
  • See which items are complete.

When you mark an item complete:

  • It crosses off in both views.
  • The client sees that no further action is required.

Sharing Files from the Files Tab

For documents not tied to checklist items:

  1. Open the Files tab.
  2. Upload the document.
  3. Click Share.

The file becomes visible in the client portal.

Two-Way Notifications

  • You are notified when a client uploads a document.
  • Clients are notified when you upload or share documents.

This keeps communication centralized and secure.

Best Practices for File Sharing

  • Use checklist uploads for required documents.
  • Use Files tab for general document sharing.
  • Mark checklist items complete after review.
  • Encourage clients to upload documents through the portal instead of email.
